Thermastrate have a range of technologies that can be adapted to produce low cost, thermally efficient arrays for PV cell receiver modules including a patented design of Solar Cell Carrier which is designed to provide an integrated assembly which includes all electrical and optical components in a package that can be incorporated at low cost into the final receiver module.

Thermastrate Solar Cell Carrier Concept

Thermastrate’s Solar Cell Carrier is designed to provide a package which includes;
o The solar cell.
o Integrated diode protection.
o Support for secondary optics.
o The interconnectivity to external circuitry.
o Environmental protection.
The SCC is designed to be assembled by an automated process.
Thermastrate will provide a complete solution of ‘packaged’ cell/optic devices assembled (with the PCB connectivity) onto the CPV Base-plate.
